First Movers vs. Fast Follower

First global investments are underway but as a fast follower H2Transition Capital are likely to incur lower costs and reduced risks with equal or greater returns.

Cost

Through experience and scale: H2 likely to reach equivalence with alternative net zero alternatives.

Demand

Established adjacent industry (e.g. utility, HGV, marine, etc) looking for carbon free fuel alternative.

R&D and applications

H2 technology is developing but behind solar, wind, wave, nuclear. Many emerging technologies across the supply chain in need of acceleration.

Policies

Climate change commitments are driving governments to develop H2 networks now.

Supply chain

Is fragmented and inefficient. Regional requirements require best choice of approach, technology and size.
